Stolen Vehicles, Burglary, Fraud, More: Haverford Crime Blotter
Haverford Township Police said vehicles were stolen from Lincoln, Maryland, and Washington avenues recently. See the full blotter here.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Police issued details on recent crime incidents in the township.
Incidents featured in the blotter occurred between Jan. 31 and Feb. 6.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

- Public Drunkenness at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Jan. 31 at 6:48 p.m. – 65-year-old male, 200 block of Bayberry Lane, Upper Darby was cited for public drunkenness.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Jan. 31 at 1410 hours – Loss Prevention Officer reported that the same female misused the “Scan It” system on two separate occasions. On 12/5 she stole $517.96 worth of groceries and on 12/6 she stole $389.63 worth of groceries.
- Criminal Mischief at Sacred Heart Church, 100 block of N. Manoa Road, on Feb. 1 at 1403 hours – An unknown male pulled the Statue of the Virgin Mary from the pedestal.
- Criminal Mischief at the unit block of Mifflin Avenue on Feb. 1 at 0925 hours – Vehicle rear window was shattered and driver side window was cracked.
- Theft at Bryn Mawr Village, 700 block of Haverford Road, on Feb. 1 at 1109 hours – Victim reported that her portable oxygen machine along with two batteries and two chargers was stolen from her room.
- Criminal Mischief at the 600 block of Ashurst Road on Feb. 1 at 7 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – nothing was reported missing.
- Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Feb. 1 at 4:11 p.m. – 29-year-old male, 7700 block of Overbrook Avenue, Philadelphia, was cited for the retail theft of $45.54 worth of merchandise.
- Theft at the unit block of W. Eagle Road on Feb. 2 at 11:43 a.m. – Victim reported that a person known to him made three unauthorized purchases with his credit card.
- Theft at Haverford College, unit block of Hannum Drive, on Feb. 2 at 2:37 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
- Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Feb. 3 at 8:33 p.m. – Loss Prevention Officer reported that three females stole $925 worth of merchandise.
- Fraud at the 200 block Mill Road on Feb. 5 at 8:30 a.m. – Victim reported that a person known to her made $2,322.41 worth of unauthorized purchases with her credit card.
- Theft at the 700 block of Ardmore Avenue on Feb. 5 at 6:01 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
- Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Feb. 5 at 3:53 p.m. – An unknown male stole four Nike hoodies.
- Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Feb. 5 at 8:37 a.m. – Loss Prevention Officer reported that an unknown female stole $1,332.98 worth of merchandise.
- Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Feb. 5 at 9:15 a.m. – The same female stole $2,248.00 worth of merchandise on two separate occasions.
- Burglary at the unit block of Woodbine Road on Feb. 6 at 12:12 p.m. – The victim’s caretaker reported that his house had been vacant for several months. He discovered water leaking from the third floor to the basement when he went to check on the property. There were also broken beer bottles along with several broken windows. It appears copper piping is missing, as well as damage to the furnace.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue on Feb. 6 at 7:10 a.m.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at the 400 block of Maryland Avenue on Feb. 6 at 3:14 a.m.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at the 400 block of Washington Avenue on Feb. 6 at 8:33 a.m.
- Theft at the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue on Feb. 6 at 7:35 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, $10 was stolen.
- Theft at the unit block of Annabella Avenue on Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, a wallet containing $10, driver’s license and numerous credit cards was stolen.
- Theft at the 100 block of Washington Avenue on Feb. 6 at 4:06 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Theft at the 400 block of Shelbourne Road on Feb. 6 at 8:59 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, phone charger was stolen.

- 42-year-old male, 400 block of Arlington Avenue, Upper Darby. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance. Locations: 200 block of Mill Road. Date: Jan. 31 at 3:11 a.m.
- 29-year-old female, 300 block of 13th Street, Neward, NJ. Charges: Retail Theft. Locations: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Feb. 2 at 1:30 p.m.
- 42-year-old male, 3500 block of 62nd Street, Woodside, NY. Charges: Retail Theft. Locations: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Feb. 2 at 1:30 p.m.
- 37-year-old female, 900 block of Green House Lane, Secane. Charges: Criminal Mischief, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. Locations: 1200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Feb. 2 at 9:10 a.m.
- 37-year-old male, 100 block of Terrace Avenue, Upper Darby. Charges: Retail Theft, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Locations: Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Feb. 4 at 4:45 p.m.
- 47-year-old female. Charges: Forgery, access device is counterfeit and theft by unlawful taking. Locations: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Feb. 5 at 4:04 p.m.
- 37-year-old male, 400 block of Lansdowne Avenue, Lansdowne. Charges: Theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Locations: UHaul, unit block of E. Township Line Road. Date: Feb. 7 at 1:31 p.m.
- 22-year-old male, unit block of N. 6th Street, Darby. Charges: Theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and possession of marijuana. Locations: UHaul, unit block of E. Township Line Road. Date: Feb. 7 at 1:31 p.m.
