Swiss Farms To Reopen Saturday After Months Of Repair Work

After a wind storm damaged the the Swiss Farms silo in July 2016, the Havertown farm is all set to reopen and you're invited to celebrate.

HAVERTOWN, PA – After 15 months of work following a wind storm in July 16, the previously closed Swiss Farms in Havertown will reopen this weekend.

The reopening will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 at the farm, 820 N. Eagle Road in Havertown.

The public is invited to attend the grand reopening, which will feature free hotdogs, fresh prepared Swiss Farms Philly Cheesesteak Dip, Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese, chips, fresh hoagie trays, Swiss Tea Cooler, Lemonade, and more.

There will also be a prize wheel that can send you home with prizes.

Cruiser, the rooster mascot, will be in attendance taking photos and handing out coupons to everyone.

Additionally, 92.5 XTU Philadelphia’s Country Radio Station with morning show host Andie Summers will be providing music, taking photos and giving out freebies from noon to 2 p.m.

In July of 2016, a wind storm ripped through Delaware County leaving thousands without power and Swiss Farms without its iconic silo.

Over the past 15 months, the Swiss Farms maintenance team has worked feverishly to rebuild and refresh the Havertown store.
