Teen Killed In Double Delco Shooting Friday: Police

The boy who died was identified by a news outlet as Darell McCury, who was about to turn 17, in the Friday shooting in Collingdale.

COLLINGDALE, PA — A 16-year-old boy died and another boy was hurt in a Friday shooting in Delaware County.

The shooting occurred at about 4:20 p.m. on the 100 block of Lafayette Avenue in Collingdale, according to police.

Collingdale Police were called to the area for a report of a shooting and found two boys suffering from gunshots.

One was shot in the foot, while the other was shot in the torso, police said.

They were taken to Crozer Hospital, where the boy suffering the torso gunshot died.

Fox 29 has identified the boy as Darell McCury, 16. He was about to turn 17.

The other boy's condition is unknown.
