The Haverford School To Perform 'Hairspray'

The Haverford School Upper School Drama and Music Departments present “Hairspray” March 1, at 7 p.m. and March 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m. in Centennial Hall. Join Tracy Turnblad (Agnes Irwin School junior Phoebe Smukler), Link Larkin (Haverford School senior Zach Rego), Corny Collins (Haverford School senior Pat Meehan) and the rest of the cast as they navigate through social injustices of the 1060s. Musical numbers include, “Without Love” “You Can’t Stop the Beat,” and “Welcome to the ’60s.”

The cast features drama students from The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur, The Agnes Irwin School, Baldwin, Downingtown West High School, The Haverford School, Hill Top Prep, Lower Merion High School, Merion Mercy Academy.

Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for students and seniors and may be purchased at the door, however, reservations are encouraged. The Box Office opens 45 minutes prior to show time. For more information or reservations, please call 610-642-3020, ext. 1257.
