Threat Closes Delaware County School District

SHARON HILL, PA — The Southeast Delco School District is closed Friday due to a possible threat made toward one of its schools.

According to the district, officials got a tip about a possible threat on Academy Park High School's ground Wednesday night.

"Out of an abundance of caution we are closing all district schools and offices while law enforcement investigates the issue," the district said.

The district did not provide details on what the possible threat was.

Academy Park High School is part of a separate investigation regarding a shooting in late July that killed 8-year-old Fanta Bility.
