Township Line Road Nightly Restictions Being Sunday
Restrictions will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, PennDOT said.

HAVERFORD, PA – Township Line Road in Haverford will see nightly restrictions beginning Sunday, July 30 to accommodate ongoing work to improve travel and safety on the road.
PennDOT said the road will be restrictions nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day between State and Harding roads.
The first night of restrictions is Sunday, July 29. The last night will be Friday, Aug. 4, with restrictions being lifted at 5 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is reconfiguring the four-lane section of Township Line Road to a five-lane section that includes a center turn lane along the corridor; resurfacing the highway from State Road to Harding Drive, narrowing lane widths, installing radar display speed signs and speed limit legends at various locations to help reduce speeds; performing tree and bush trimming operations along the south side of Township Line Road between Blythe Avenue and Belfield Avenue; and installing High Friction Surface Treatment (HFST) on the northbound right lane of U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) between State Road and Arrowhead Lane to improve safety.
