Two Knife Point Robberies In Haverford Under Investigation
One occurred the evening of Nov. 19 and the other the night of Nov. 22. Anyone with information is urged to contact Haverford Police. I

HAVERFORD, PA – Two people were robbed at knife point in separate incidents in Haverford Township this week, and police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
The first incident occurred at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19 near Eagle Road and Sunnyhill Lane. The second was at about 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22 near Eagle Road and West Hillcrest Avenue.
On Nov. 19 man was walking home on North Eagle Road when he was approached by a black man who was armed with a red-handled knife.

Police said the man grabbed the victim by the arm and demanded the victim's phone and money.
The victim gave up his phone and money, then the suspect got inside a dark four-door sedan parked on the 1400 block of Sunnyhill Lane and fled toward the unit block of Sunyhill in the vehicle.

On. Nov. 22, a man was walking home for CVS on West Hillcrest when he was approached by a black man who was armed with a black-handled knife, police said.
Again, the victim was told to hand over his phone and money, which he did but then began to yell for help.
Police said a woman drove by and yelled, causing the suspect the flee. Police said the victim thought the woman chased the suspect with her vehicle
Both victims described their assailants as black men between 20 t0 32 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a skinny but muscular build, a goatee with scruffy facial hair, and a dark complexion
