West Eagle Road Reopens, Electrical Fire Out: Haverford Twp
An electrical fire broke out in an manhole cover Thursday morning, forcing a portion of West Eagle Road to close.

HAVERTOWN, PA – West Eagle Road in Havertown is open again after an electrical fire in a manhole cover forced it to close, according to Haverford Township.
The Bon Air Fire Company said the fire started at about 8:17 a.m. and PECO feared a potential explosion due to the fire, according to the fire company.
PECO is still investigating what caused the issue.
