Join the Rex Foundation for a once in a lifetime weekend long celebration of Wavy Gravy and the Grateful Dead. Friday evening’s reception, "An Evening of Goodness" at Main Line Art Center will include a gallery showing of Scott Shapiro’s personal collection of Grateful Dead artwork in addition to live music from Splintered Sunlight, one of the greatest Grateful Dead cover bands in the country. Enjoy food, drinks and a celebration of Wavy’s 80th birthday – East Coast style! This event is 21+, and a portion of event proceeds benefit the Rex Foundation and Main Line Art Center. The events continue Saturday with an additional gallery viewing along with an exclusive showing of Wavy Gravy’s documentary, “Saint Misbehavin” at the Bryn Mawr Film Festival. Guests will enjoy a personal Q&A with Wavy and film producer Michelle Esrick immediately following the movie.Last, but certainly not least, the culmination of this exciting weekend will be a surprise concert at the Ardmore Music Hall.
