Vehicle Theft, Burglary, Fraud, More: Haverford Crime Blotter
Haverford Police said a home on the 1200 block of Ellston Road was broken into and had jewelry and safe contents stolen on July 8.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their latest crime blotter recently.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between July 6 and July 11.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

- Theft at Pep Boys, 500 block of West Chester Pike, on July 6 at 10:04 a.m. – The store manager reported that an employee stole tires.
- Vandalism at the 100 block of Garfield Avenue on July 6 at 9:39 a.m. – Vehicle window was smashed.
- Bicycle Theft at the unit block of Hannum Drive on July 7 at 4:07 a.m. – The caller reported that he observed juveniles attempting to steal his bicycle. Three juveniles were arrested.
- Attempted Theft at the unit block of Golf Road on July 7 at 10:53 a.m. – The victim reported that his vehicle's rear windshield was shattered.
- Attempted Theft at Haverford Village, 700 block of Ardmore Avenue, on July 7 at 4:07 a.m. – Three juveniles were in custody for a Bicycle Theft. They were in possession of a screwdriver and had been attempting to enter vehicles.
- Fraud at the 400 block of E. Manoa Road on July 7 at 3:25 p.m. – Victim reported that he was approached by a man that offered to do work on his roof. The victim paid him $13,000 and the work was never completed.
- Burglary at the 1200 block of Ellston Road on July 8 at 7:40 p.m. – Forced entry was gained. Jewelry and the contents of a safe were stolen.
- Theft at the 400 block of Llanerch Avenue on July 9 at 9:53 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – a wallet containing credit cards, driver’s license and $60 was stolen.
- Identity Theft at the 400 block of Maryland Avenue on July 9 at 12:20 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to attempt to purchase a vehicle.
- Identity Theft at the 400 block of Mill Road on July 10 at 4:34 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a PayPal account using her husband’s identity. He was notified by a collection agency that he owed $11,864,44.

- Theft at the 100 block of Golf View Road on July 11 at 2 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened eight credit card accounts using her identity.
- Criminal Mischief at Kenilworth and Winchester Roads on July 11 at 5:07 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered.
ARRESTS
- 45-year-old male, 2700 block of Venago Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: 200 block of Fairlamb Avenue. Date: July 8 at 9:58 p.m.
- 27-year-old female, 600 block of Woodcrest Avenue, Ardmore. Charges: Simple assault and harassment. Location: 600 block of Woodcrest Avenue. Date: July 11 at 9:40 a.m.
