Water Main Replacement Set for Burmont Road

Aqua Pennsylvania will restrict traffic on Burmont Road at the U.S. Route 1 (Township Line Road) Intersection in Haverford Township, Delaware County, Sunday, Aug. 10 through Friday, Aug. 15 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for water main replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) on Tuesday announced.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area. The construction schedule is dependent on the weather.
