Water Main Work To Close Haverford Township Road Through Late August
Aqua Pennsylvania work will impact traffic on a Haverford Township road starting next week and lasting through late August, PennDOT said.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Starting next week, Aqua Pennsylvania will close Glendale Road in Haverford Township through August.
According to PennDOT, Aqua Pennsylvania will be working on water mains on Glendale Road starting Monday and lasting through Thursday, Aug. 31.
Work is being done between Fairview Avenue and Colonial Drive.

On weekdays, Glendale Road will be closed between Fairview Avenue and Colonial Drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 3 (West Chester Pike), Eagle Road, Steel Road, and Burmont Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
