We're looking for a Recess, Lunch and After-school Aide at The Grayson School!

Are you available for approximately 2 hours per day during the week to cover 2 groups of no more than 20 students at a time?

Then this may be the job for you.

You will supervise children during recess, actively engaging with our students.

You will facilitate and assist school personnel with program activities, dismissal procedures, and other assigned duties for the safe and efficient operation of our school.

You will function as a role model for our students, and will be positive and personable in dealing with our staff and parent community.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• At least one year of experience in supervising or working with children.
• Up-to-date (less than 1 year old) clearances prior to beginning work, including Federal Criminal History, PA State Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, Mandated Reporter training, TB test, Act 168, and any additional required clearances.
• Reached your 18th birthday prior to beginning work, and are available for in-service training prior to the start of the school year.

IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF:

• You have demonstrated sensitivity and awareness to meeting the social and emotional characteristics of gifted children.
• You admire Mary Poppins and Bert for their vast array of tips and tricks to engage a bored child or to facilitate inclusive behavior and play.
