VERNON PAPERS by DREW SHANEFIELD - The music is called Vernon Papers, from singer-songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist Drew Shanefield. Coming from a musical family in Philadelphia, Drew grew up playing trumpet and guitar and has spent his life immersed in music as a performer, teacher, composer, songwriter. It’s true, he has a Masters and a Doctorate, but please don’t call him Dr. And yes, some Haverford Township folks may know him.
In the studio, Drew plays every instrument and sings every vocal track. On stage, the Vernon Papers experience is largely a solo one. An acoustic, an electric and a notebook full of musings. The sound at times can be raw and from the depths, and at other times vulnerable and thoughtful. Always from the heart.
He is a member of the Philadelphia Folksong Society Musical Artists Cooperative and the Philadelphia Area Songwriters’ Alliance and is happy to make his Kelly Center debut.
CubiZm Welcome to a rare acoustic performance of CubiZm, featuring an acoustic guitar, percussion and harmonica. We will perform the CubiZm songs that you have come to love, old and new, in a setting that highlights the songwriting and vocals. Heidi Wolfson's songs are thought-provoking and literate, and she delivers them with a singular intensity. Art Cohen, CubiZm’s rock guitarist, will play a smooth acoustic guitar . Steve Lessick will add his tasteful drumming and beautiful vocal harmonies. From a whisper to a roar, the music of CubiZm is always compelling.
CubiZm has performed at The Philadelphia Folk Festival, The Living Room in Ardmore, The Fallser Club in East Falls, and many venues throughout Philadelphia and its suburbs. Their 5th CD, Distracted by Birds, is ready to drop Oct 10, at Steel City in Phoenixville, PA.
Advance General Admission seating $15. Advance VIP Reserved Table seating $20. At the Door General Admission seating $25.&nbsp;
Doors open at 7pm. 7:30 show. Advance ticket sales close 5pm day of show. Any remaining tickets available at the door.
BYOB is welcome for an additional $5 donation per drinker. Disposable cups and ice provided. No Food is served at the Kelly Center. You can bring in outside food. There is a vending machine with snacks , cold drinks, and coffee pods for a Keurig.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Free Parking in Oakmont Municipal lot behind Kelly Center off Darby Road after 6pm. Additional FREE parking is available courtesy of our friends at Grace Chapel on the corner of Eagle and Darby Roads.

Seating is the primary focus, with numerous sets and pairs of upholstered bar chairs, bar stools, dining chairs, and molded plastic seating. Styles range from contemporary and industrial to Mid-Century Modern inspired designs. Many examples feature grey or light-colored upholstery paired with black metal frames, while others incorporate curved wood or wood-veneer backrests, tubular frames, sled bases, tapered legs, and integrated footrests.
The auction also includes numerous coordinated bar-height and café table sets. Tables feature wood, white laminate, and faux marble tops paired with black, chrome, brushed metal, or black-and-brass pedestal and frame designs. Several larger industrial-style high-top tables measure approximately six feet long and are accompanied by matching or complementary stools, while smaller round pedestal tables provide options for café, restaurant, and hospitality seating arrangements.
Commercial fixtures include three reception counters or desks, including modular and faux marble designs with storage cabinetry, raised transaction surfaces, decorative trim, and contemporary finishes. These pieces complement the broader selection of contract-style seating and tables.
With 40 lots largely devoted to coordinated commercial seating and tables, the sale provides an opportunity to acquire chairs in multiples rather than individually. Offerings range from four-chair dining and bar sets to pairs of stools, complete café arrangements, high-top table-and-stool combinations, reception furniture, and individual tables.
The catalog is particularly well suited to restaurants, cafés, bars, offices, waiting areas, event spaces, and other commercial interiors, with many chairs offered in matching sets.
