Woman Found Stabbed To Death Just Outside Delaware County

A woman was found stabbed to death in a West Philadelphia home that's just a few blocks from the Delaware County border on Tuesday afternoon, Philadelphia Police said.

Police said a 39-year-old woman was found stabbed seven times in the chest and hands when officers were called to a rooming house on the 100 block of North Edgewood Street at about 12:43 p.m. Tuesday.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:05 p.m., police said.

Police did find a weapons but have not made any arrests.
