Woman Sexually Assaulted In Haverford Home Last Week: Police
A Chatham Village resident woke up to a man in her home and then was sexually assaulted in the early-morning hours of Wednesday last week.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township are investigating a sexual assault that occurred last week in the Chatham Village area.
According to police, at about 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, officers were called to a home in the Chatham Village area off of Township Line Road for a report of a sexual assault that had just occurred.
Police said the victim was awakened by a man who sexually assaulted her.

The victim described the man as being white, standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall with s short, stocky, stumpy build with a protruding stomach, police said. The victim also said the man's hair to be black with some white.
Police said the man was wearing a tiger striped bandanna "in a triangle over his face," a baseball cap with a similar patterned covering over top of the cap, a black T-shirt, and camouflage pants.
