Woman Stabbed Mother To Death In Delaware County: Authorities
A young Delaware County woman is accused of killing her mother by stabbing her multiple times over the weekend.
DARBY, PA — An 18-year-old Delaware County woman has been charged with murder and related crimes after authorities said she stabbed her mother to death this past weekend.
Alphia Sherif, 18, of Darby, is charged with criminal homicide, first and third degree murder, terroristic threats, and possession of an instrument of crime court records show.
According to the Delaware County Daily Times, Sherif stabbed her mother, Zieneb Sayed, to death Sunday morning.

Officers were called to Seventh and Main in Darby Borough and found Sherif naked in the street holding a religious book while speaking Arabic.
A relative told police Sherif stabbed Sayed in a home nearby, where Sayed was found and pronounced dead, the outlet reports.

Sherif is scheduled for a July 12 preliminary hearing.
She is being held without bail, court records show.
