Young West Chester Actor Performs in "Matilda the Musical"
Eddie Sims of West Chester, PA performs in the ensemble of Roald Dahl's "Matilda the Musical" at Walnut Street Theatre

Eddie Sims performs on the Walnut Mainstage in the ensemble of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical - playing now through January 6, 2019.
Based on the beloved Roald Dahl novel, Matilda is the story of the courageous little girl with an unbounded imagination who proves that despite the odds, you can do anything you put your mind to—and change your destiny. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by this Broadway hit and winner of 16 Best Musical awards!
Eddie Sims is a 6th grader at the Fugett Middle School and resident of West Chester, PA. In addition to performing at the Walnut, Eddie has performed with the Limelight Performing Arts Center and United Methodist Church of West Chester. Following in the footsteps of his sister and previous Walnut performer, Eddie found himself a passion for performance. In his first theatrical production, Eddie joined his sister in a local production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. Since then, Eddie has performed in Honk! Jr. and James and the Giant Peach at the Limelight PAC of West Chester, PA. This past summer, Eddie was seen as “Boy” in the Bravo Theatre Company production of Into the Woods.
