Earl and Erika Hill Recognized for Over 20 Years of Service to the Community

At Hellertown Historical Society's Annual Holiday Open House, Earl and Erika Hill were recognized for over 20 years of combined service to the Society and the Community.  Erika has served on the Society's Board of Directors for over 20 years and is completing 3 years as Secretary.  Earl also a veteran member of the Board of Directors is completing 3 years as President; he will continue to serve on the Board. Society members presented the Hills with one of the newly released numbered and signed prints of Joe Sofka's watercolor of the Grist Mill Buildings and Grounds.  

The winner of the Society's 2012 Fundraiser Raffle of the original Sofka watercolor was drawn at the conclusion of the evening's festivities;  Jim Luchetta of Hellertown was the winner.  Of the prizes for those present at the time of the drawing, Catherine Doll of Hellertown won #1 of the numbered and signed prints of Sofka's painting. Charmaine Fegley of Hellertown won a mouse pad bearing a print of the Sofka painting, and Doris Grimes of Hellertown won two tickets to a Steel Stax show featuring the Gilbert Family who performed at the Open House.
