Cops: Hellertown Woman Allowed Meth Lab in Her Home

A Hellertown woman was sentenced Friday for allowing a methamphetamine lab to be run from her home on the 100 block of Main Street.
Joan A. Hummer, 53, was sentenced Friday to eight to 23 months in prison, and two years of probation, the Morning Call reported. Hummer had pleaded guilty in December 2013Β to the felony charge of conspiring to run a meth lab.
Authorities busted the meth lab at 166 Main St. in August, andΒ several otherΒ high-profile raids ofΒ alleged meth labs in the Saucon ValleyΒ area soonΒ followed.
