Jeffrey D. Stocker to give a talk on Northampton County Civil War regiment.

On June 13, 2012, 7:00PM at Seidersville Hall, in Lower Saucon Township, the Lower Saucon Township Historical Society will sponsor a talk by Civil War historian Jeffrey D. Stocker.

Jeffrey D. Stocker is a practicing attorney in Allentown, Pennsylvania and is an author of "ISN'T THIS GLORIOUS!” which received the Bachelder-Coddington Literary Award. He is a longtime advocate of battlefield preservation. Besides having served as president of the Civil War Round Table of Eastern Pennsylvania, Inc., he is the editor of FROM HUNTSVILLE TO APPOMATTOX, ROBERT T. COLES' HISTORY OF THE 4TH ALABAMA REGIMENT. He is presently completing a history of the 153rd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment. Jeff and his wife Marliese Walter reside in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.

Admission is free. All guests are welcome and refreshments will be served.
