If you have ever saved seeds from a tasty melon or tomatoes, you might be interested in this project!
Calling all gardeners who like to grow tasty veggies and who would like to learn how to save seeds. If you are interested in helping start a local seed library, get in touch with me to join in plans for this project. We may not get it fully running in one growing season but it could be fun and very useful for local gardeners.
I have read about seed libraries all over the country. They appear to function so as to give a mechanism for sharing seeds within a community using the library as a location for seed storage and dissemination. Give some thought to the concept of saving seeds to share with others at no cost. I hope to hear from a few of you in the coming weeks! Josh will put you in touch with me.
