If someone had told me a few years ago that I could attract a good day I would have thought they were crazy. But learning the law of attraction, I have been able to create my day with no problems.
When I used to stumble out of bed and stub my toe, rub my eyes and really not want to do anything but fall back into the sheets, my day just seemed to either drag on or be one headache after another. I felt tired, irritated, and swore my bed called my name so loudly that I could hear it when I was away from my house. After reading The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and You Can Heal Your Life by Louise L. Hay, I started to apply the suggestions they had in their books. I actually found a routine that I absolutely love. It is one that works for me and I do it every single morning. Now you can come up with your own and may have to try a few different things to see what works for you. Affirmations, setting intentions, prayer, being grateful and meditation are all good starts. Because I meditate every night before bed, I opted not to meditate in the morning. Besides my daughter is little Miss Sunshine and loves to wake everyone up in the house early so I know I would be distracted. My prayers I also do before I start meditating. And I pray out of love and gratitude rather than lack and desperation.
Here is my morning routine before I even step foot out of bed:
With my eyes closed I take several deep breaths. I ask Archangel Michael (the angel of protection, guidance, support and grounding) to surround me with the white light of the Holy Spirit. This white light I will carry with me throughout the day. It will protect me from all negativity including feeling the emotions of others. I ask Michael to ground me and to keep me safe. I ask that he protects all of my loved ones throughout the day. I then ask Archangel Chamuel (the angel of love) to surround me with pink light and thank him for helping me speak out of love and compassion as well as act out of love and compassion. I do this also so that I may project love to everyone who crosses my path. Then I start my affirmations which are:
I am so grateful for my perfect health.
I am thankful now that my ego is silent.
I am a money magnet. I attract abundance wherever I go.
I am so thankful for the health of my loved ones.
I am grateful that God has blessed me with another day of life.
I am thankful that I am a messenger of God's unconditional love.
I am thankful that Jesus walks with me through life and continues to show me how to love others as He did.
I am thankful that I will continue to attract blessings throughout this day.
I am loved.
Sometimes I will pray for the world and actually visualize white light going around the earth and penetrating the darkest parts. If we all did this, the world would shift into a much more peaceful place.
There are many affirmations that you can find on Google, a lot are written by Louise L. Hay. Some of the above I came up with myself. If you take a moment and listen to your heart, you can come up with your own and what will help you with your life. When we start the day focusing on gratitude we will create that feeling throughout the day. And even if something negative happens, our joy isn't taken away from us as easily.
Try it and see what happens.
Wishing you a day of sunshine and happiness, always!
