Local Residents Injured in Berks Pickup Accident
Hellertown residents David Schaffstall and Christy Healy were hurt when their pickup truck was struck by another vehicle on Route 222 in Wyomissing, Berks County on Sunday.

Two borough residents were reportedly hurt Sunday when their vehicle was involved in an accident on Route 222 in Wyomissing, Berks County.
According to the Reading Eagle, David Schaffstall, 48, and Christy Healy, 41, were in a pickup truck that was struck by another vehicle at about 4pm.
The newspaper reports that their vehicle rolled over the guide rail along southbound Route 222, landing in the northbound lanes of the divided highway.

The highway was then shut down for almost two hours.
Both Schaffstall and Healy were taken to Reading Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, and updated information on their conditions was not available, according to the Reading Eagle.

The newspaper said the cause of the accident remains under investigation, and added that witnesses are being asked to contact Wyomissing police.
