Obituary: Frederick S. Cooper, 91, of Lower Saucon

Frederick S. Cooper, 91, of Lower Saucon Township died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the in Lower Saucon. He was the husband of the late Ann M. (Beyak) Cooper, who died June 23, 2009. He was born in Philadelphia on July 7, 1920 to the late Frederick A. and Minnie M. (Ruth) Cooper. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He worked in the Forge Specialty Department of the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for more than 41 years until retiring in 1981. Frederick was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Bethlehem.

Survivors:

Son: Fred of Lower Saucon Township, Thomas J. of Allentown; brother: Donald C. of Hellertown; three grandchildren: Amy, Tim and Tonya; and one great-grandson: Ezra.

Service:

Family and friends are invited to call from noon to 1pm Monday, March 12 at the , 326 Main Street, Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 1pm. The interment will conclude services at . Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
