PennDOT Plans Roadwork in Lower Saucon
Potholes will be patched on Route 378 and shoulder work will be performed along I-78 this week.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced plans for roadwork to be performed in Lower Saucon Township this week.
According to a news release issued by PennDOT Friday, maintenance forces will be working on the shoulder of I-78 westbound between Route 412 (Exit 67) and the Lehigh County line Monday until 2pm. On Tuesday, March 29, crews will be working on the I-78 eastbound shoulder between the Lehigh-Northampton county line and Exit 67 from 9am to 2pm, with a lane restriction in place, the release said.
On Wednesday and Thursday, PennDOT maintenance forces will be patching potholes on Route 378 between Puggy Lane and Seidersville Road from 9am to 2pm, weather permitting, a separate release stated. On Friday, April 1, they will continue the operation on Route 378 between Black River Road and the Lehigh County line.

Lane restrictions with flagging will be in place while the pothole patching is being done and motorists are requested to use caution while driving through the work zone, PennDOT said.
