[Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, PA - Wednesday, May 07, 2014] – The Saucon Valley Conservancy will host its 3rd Annual Barn Photo Workshop at the Heller Homestead, 1890-92 Friedensville Road, Bethlehem, on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 9 am to 12 pm (rain or shine).
Take great photographs of barns, historical buildings, and other subjects using your digital SLR, point-and-shoot camera, or cell phone. Learn photo tips and techniques you can use on our 2014 Barn Tour of Saucon Valley Barns on September 13 by attending this practical workshop.
Frank T. Smith, an award-winning local photographer, will present an all-new workshop featuring recent work and practical ideas for photographing barns and other historical structures. This illustrated workshop will include many tips and techniques to help you take better pictures every day. The fee for the workshop is $30.
Attend both the Barn Photo Workshop on Saturday, May 31 and the Saucon Valley Conservancy Barn Tour on Saturday, September 13. You'll be eligible to enter your photos taken on both days in a contest. Winning entries will be featured at the Heller Homestead Art Gallery in a Barn Photo Exhibit held in September, 2015. This is your chance to showcase your best barn photos. RSVP by May 29, 2014
