Neighbors along this busy route to Hershey described the crash's aftermath as devastating as state police reconstructed the scene and kept the road closed for nearly four hours.
2. 'Best decision I ever made': Young Penn State cancer survivors share photography stories (local21news.com) — At Penn State Health in Hershey, childhood cancer survivors are using the Photovoice program to share their journeys through powerful photographs instead of difficult conversations. Local participants describe feeling less alone, more confident, and better able to talk with family about what they endured during treatment and recovery.
3. Rock singer to perform at Hershey Theatre (pennlive.com) — Hershey music fans can catch Rob Thomas live at Hershey Theatre on January 14, 2027, with tickets going on sale October 2 via Ticketmaster. The Matchbox Twenty frontman will mix solo hits, band favorites, and his Sidewalk Angels Foundation work supporting no-kill animal shelters nationwide.

Lancaster Capital Day celebration cut short after heavy rain (local21news.com) — A Hershey-based Indian food truck owner saw his big day at Lancaster's Capital Day celebration washed out when heavy rain forced vendors to pack up early.
