HORSHAM, PA — Students at Hatboro-Horsham High School did some stellar work last weekend.
During the Mini-Thon event to benefit children with cancer, students fundraised a total of $18,914.87, the district announced.
Thons are events based on teamwork, leadership, and creativity which occur throughout the night and raise money to help fight childhood cancer. They occur at schools around the region. Many are inspired by the Penn State Dance Marathon, which draws thousands to College Park every year.
