2 Charged In Vehicle Break-Ins In Hatboro

Hatboro Police said two juveniles were taken into custody for the vehicle break-ins on Earl Lane last week.

HATBORO, PA — Two teenagers have been arrested for vehicle break-ins in the borough, police said.

The Hatboro Borough Police Department received a 911 call in the early morning of Jan. 10 from a resident saying that their vehicle had been broken into.

Police found that two other vehicles were also broken into. Shortly after, police spotted two juveniles enter an Uber near the break-ins, all of which occurred on Earl Lane.

Police spoke with the two juveniles and found out that they did not live in the area. Both were dressed in all black clothing with black face coverings and a black backpack.

The juveniles were questioned and released. Police then obtained surveillance video, which revealed the two juveniles breaking into the vehicles.

They were sent to juvenile court for these offenses. Police did not release the names of the two suspects because they are juveniles.
