They are also offering some tips:
1. Pre-clean the oven: Before starting a self-cleaning cycle, wipe away any large food particles or grease buildup inside the oven with a damp cloth or sponge. This is a must!
2. Remove all racks and pans: Always take out all oven racks, baking sheets, and cooking utensils before starting the self-cleaning cycle.
3. Check the gasket: Inspect the oven door gasket for any damage or wear, as a faulty gasket can potentially cause issues during the high heat cycle.
4. Follow manufacturer's instructions: Read and follow the specific guidelines provided by your oven manufacturer regarding the self-cleaning cycle.
5. Ventilation is key: Ensure your kitchen has proper ventilation while the self-cleaning cycle is running to remove any smoke or fumes.
6. Never leave unattended: Do not leave the oven unattended during the self-cleaning cycle.
7. Avoid flammable materials: Do not place any plastic or aluminum foil inside the oven during the self-cleaning cycle, as they can melt or ignite.
