2019 Philadelphia Region Student Video Awards Announced
Keith Valley Middle School Receives Outstanding Videography Award in "What's So Cool About Manufacturing?"

The "What's So Cool About Manufacturing?" awards ceremony was held Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. Presented by DVIRC, "What's So Cool About Manufacturing?" Student Video Contest focuses on matching Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia county schools with major manufacturing companies in the Greater Philadelphia area. This is one of 15 regional contests scheduled in Pennsylvania for the 2018-2019 school year. On Monday evening, a team of Keith Valley Middle School students received the Outstanding Videography award.
Keith Valley students worked with Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Research Services (PMRS) in Horsham. The Keith Valley team is one of three that has been invited to represent the Philadelphia Region on the state level on April 30, 2019.
The team is comprised of students Laine Giovanniello, Evelyn Acton, Zak Ibrahim, Justin Buonato and Jacob Schwartz. The teachers involved in this effort are Carol Miller, Valerie Fasy, and Lisanne Liney.

Barry Miller, President and CEO of Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center, hosted the event in Oaks.
“This is a great opportunity for students to explore opportunities in manufacturing and it builds excitement about future career opportunities. I am impressed by the team’s talent and innovation and wish them the best on April 30th,” said Keith Valley Middle School Principal Jonathan Kircher.
