3 Teens Charged With Assault For Luring Horsham Boy Into Fight: Police

Horsham Township Police said two of the juveniles were also involved in vehicle theft crimes in the township and surrounding communities.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Three juveniles have been charged with aggravated assault after luring a boy to the Village Mall for a fight last month. And two of them are also involved in vehicle thefts in the township and surrounding communities, police said.

The Horsham Township Police Department said its criminal investigations division identified and arrested all suspects involved in the Feb. 23 assault in which the boy was lured to the Blair Mill Road location where he was assaulted by a group of Bucks County teens, police said.

Police said the three teenagers were charged with, but not limited to, felony aggravated assault and related assault offenses, as well as recklessly endangering another person.

The three were also charged with criminal conspiracy to commit such crimes. They were taken to their appropriate facilities for housing, pending court procedures, police said.

In investigating the fight, police said they determined that two of the juveniles were also responsible for vehicle thefts in the township and surrounding communities.

In late January, Horsham Township Police Chief Scott Fida issued a warning asking residents to take protective measures against vehicle thefts and thefts from vehicles.

As a result of that investigation, the two juveniles were charged with appropriate crimes relating to, but not limited to, felony theft and criminal conspiracy to commit such crimes, police said.

Police said that all specific information related to juvenile proceedings will be left intentionally confidential for the protection of all individuals involved.
