3 Injured, 2 Pets Die In Horsham Apartments Fire
Horsham ChATs said a fire happened in the Blair Mill Apartments complex while a building was also struck by lightning on Thursday night.
HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Two fires within the course of a half hour on Thursday night involved a building struck by lightning, and another at the Blair Mill Village West Apartment Complex, Horsham ChATs said.
Horsham Community Police Services said the Horsham Fire Company responded at 11 p.m. on Thursday for a lightning strike to a building in the 200 block of Running Water Court.
Authorities reported no injuries in that fire.

Meanwhile, fire crews responded at 11:24 p.m. to a working fire at the Blair Mill Village West Apartment complex, Horsham ChATs said.
Three residents were transported to the hospital, and four apartment units were seriously damaged, Horsham ChATs said. Two pets also died in the fire.

The families at both scenes were assisted by the township's Department of Emergency Management staff.
Both fires are being investigated by the Horsham Township Fire Marshal's Office.
Firefighters also had several other calls throughout the day on Thursday:
- At 08:32 a.m., fire crews responded to the 10 block of Leary Drive for an odor of gas call.
- At 09:55 a.m., fire crews responded to the 400 block of Horsham Road for an odor of gas inside a building call.
- At 1:08 p.m., fire crews responded to the 600 block of Dresher Road for a building fire.
- At 9:13 p.m., fire crews responded to another odor of gas inside a building call on the 1100 block of Easton Road.
