4-Year-Old Boy Toast Of Town At Hatboro Wawa Opening
Cameron Grasso of Willow Grove loves everything Wawa. Grasso received the first toast at the Hatboro Wawa's recent grand opening.

HATBORO, PA —It was a weekly thing. Like even four times a week.
Every time Madeleine Grasso would drive down York Road, her 4-year-old son Cameron would pop the question.
"When will the new Wawa open?" he asked.

You see, the Willow Grove boy is obsessed with Wawa. His mother said that his 4th birthday party this summer was Wawa-themed with Cameron even getting a Wawa cake. (See photo below.)
She said he sings songs in the car about going to his favorite store —Wawa.

"We go ( a lot ) and we have been watching the new location be built for months with him asking when it will open weekly and checking out the progress every time we drive by," Cameron's mother said.
So when the Hatboro Wawa grand opening was announced, an arrangement was made: Cameron would be part of the festivities.
On a chilly Tuesday morning earlier this month, Cameron was clutching a little Wally the Goose mascot stuffed animal. His mother was there along with his big brother Calvin.
Not only was the family among the hundreds to enter the store when it first opened that day, but Cameron was the first to be included when store officials held a toast to welcome the new convenience store at the corner of York and Horsham roads to the neighborhood.
Cameron received a bigger version of his Wally the Goose and a basket filled with all kinds of Wawa merchandise.
"They were so excited," Grasso told Patch Friday morning. "Wawa was so generous. Cameron shared the things with his brother. And he hugged that bird so hard."
Grasso said she made her way through Hatboro about four times a week on her way to visit her parents in Warminster.
And now that the new Wawa has opened, Grasso said Cameron has come back a few times.
