Annual Bud Aikens Golf Classic

hosted by the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce & Rotary Club of Hatboro

The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce (www.hatborochamber.com) & the Rotary Club of Hatboro  have partnered this year to hold  its  Annual Golf Classic & Scholarship  Outing and 19th Hole Par-Tee on Monday, May 11, at the Spring Mill Country Club on Jacksonville Road in Ivyland, PA. Golf registration is 10:30 a.m., lunch is 11:30 a.m., and the Shotgun Tee Time is 12:30 p.m.

Lunch, a four-person scramble round of golf followed by the 19th Hole Par-Tee two-hour open bar, and five-station awards dinner from 5:00 until 7:0p.m., is included in the cost of this lively social and business networking event.

Awards will be given to first, second and third-place teams, as well as for the longest drive and shot closest to the pin. Other fun raffle and door prizes will also be awarded.

This annual spring golf outing is open to the public. The cost is $150.00 per person, or $500 for a foursome, and covers the green fees, lunch, golf cart rental, and 19th Hole Par-Tee/Dinner. For non-golfers, and those interested in attending the dinner and evening festivities only, the cost is $40.00 per person.

The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce, located at 120 S. York Road, Suite 6 in the Red Barn Mall, hosts special and annual events to support area businesses, both large and small, including the Halloween Stroll, Holiday Parade,  and Moonlight Memories Car Show. The car show, now in its 23nd year, draws more than 50,000 visitors to Hatboro each July. Hatboro is also celebrating its Tricentennial in 2015. Hatboro’s Community Day will be Saturday May 16, 2015 at Eaton Park and Memorial Parks.
