Aggressive Driving Crackdown Planned Along Route 611

Police are cracking down on aggressive drivers along the Route 611 corridor.

UPPER MORELAND, PA — Police are cracking down on aggressive drivers along the Route 611 corridor.

The enforcement campaign will begin on Aug. 1 and will run through Aug. 26, coinciding with a statewide effort.

More than 60 police departments around Pennsylvania, along with the Pennsylvania State Police, will join in the crackdown.

Police will be on the lookout for behaviors like running red lights, failing to stop at stop signs, and speeding, officials said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Buckle Up PA,and AAA Mid-Atlantic are joining state and local police in assisting on the campaign.
