HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Horsham Township Fire Department will be using an old apartment complex to conduct training exercises, officials said.
Horsham ChATs said fire department personnel will be conducting multi-week, non-live fire training exercises at the former Shelby apartments on 100 Easton Road.
Officials said the drills are aimed at enhancing, refreshing, and training members in essential fire and rescue operations within a structural environment.
Supported by the Military Installation Remediation and Infrastructure Authority (MIRIA) and Larry Burns of the Department of Economic Development, the initiative utilizes the vacant structure for realistic training scenarios.
