HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The resurfacing of Horsham Road will takes place at night this week, township officials said.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation informed township officials that Horsham Road resurfacing will take place this week between Tournament Drive and Easton Road.
PennDOT said the work takes place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
A lane closure with flagging will be in place weekdays on Route 463 (Horsham Road) between Tournament Drive and Route 611 (Easton Road) for milling and paving.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
Under the resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
