HATBORO, PA — A fire early Sunday morning at a borough business is under investigation.
At 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, Hatboro Police and the Enterprise Fire Company responded to a fire alarm at Concordance Ferments at 18 Horsham Road, authorities said.
Fire crews found smoke in the building and called for the assistance of neighboring fire departments.
The fire was quickly extinguished and is under investigation by the Hatboro Fire Marshal.
The Enterprise Fire Department and our mutual aid partners in Horsham, Willow Grove, and Warminster responded to the blaze.
Concordance Ferments said it received a call that some smoldering rags set the fire alarm in the building.
Business owners said they spent Sunday cleaning and coordinating so that Concordance Ferments can reopen as soon as possible.
The business asked patrons to grab a beer at neighboring bars like Crooked Eye and Artifact breweries.
"We are wishing Abe and the Concordance Family luck as they deal with this minor setback," borough officials said.
