HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — It was a historic moment in the township's history on Saturday.
Horsham Township held its first-ever Pride Flag raising at the Horsham Township Library on Babylon Road at Noon on Saturday.
Township officials said they held the event to celebrate unity, inclusion, diversity, and "Horsham Connected" through community.
Pride Month is celebrated each June to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York City, widely viewed as a turning point in the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement, according to the Library of Congress.
