HATBORO, PA —The Hatboro Memorial Pool has officially opened for the summer season.
Borough officials said the pool is open and operational despite the nearby Moreland Avenue Bridge closure.
There are additional traffic restrictions in the area of the pool as a result of the bridge closure.
People wishing to access the facility can access the pool parking lot from the York Road side of West Moreland Avenue only.
The pool parking cannot be accessed from the Blair Mill Road side of West Moreland Avenue due to the bridge closure.
Parking is also available in the Memorial Park Parking Lot off of West Monument Avenue. The pool can be easily accessed from the Memorial Park Parking Lot using the footbridge that connects Memorial Park to the Pool property.
Limited parking is also available in the Eaton Park Parking lot directly across from the Pool Facility (this parking lot is also only accessible from the York Road side of West Moreland Avenue).
Borough officials are asking all drivers to respect all laws, posted on-street parking restrictions, etc. when traveling to and from the pool facility.
As always, members and guests are permitted to bring their own food and beverages into the facility. As a reminder, alcohol is strictly prohibited at the pool facility.
Pool Memberships are available for purchase at Borough Hall, 414 S. York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040 Monday through Friday from 8 AM - 4: 30 PM.
If you are interested in purchasing a membership but cannot come to the office during business hours, please contact Borough Hall at 215-443-9100 and we will set up an appointment for you to come to our offices outside of business hours.
As a reminder, guest fees can be deducted from the cost of your membership through mid-June. Please save your receipts if you pay to enter as a guest and turn them into Borough Hall when you purchase your membership (all names on the receipts must match the name on the membership to receive the discount).
