HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A company has now established its international headquarters in the township.
Township officials attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony recently for Asplundh's new state-of-the-art facility at 680 Blair Mill Road.
The company has 500 employees.
Established in 1928, Asplundh is a family-owned and operated company.
For nearly a century, the company has served the utility and infrastructure industries, helping communities build, recover, and thrive in a changing world.
"We have evolved to drive productivity and efficiencies, improve safety, and transform how utilities approach vegetation management," the company said on its website. "And we continue to innovate so that we can make a positive impact and improve lives for the people, businesses, and communities we serve."
Horsham Township Council members Elizabeth Thomson and John McCarty attended the ceremony along with township staff.
The company has been in Horsham for over 50 years.
"We were overjoyed when they made the decision to remain in Horsham," township officials said. "Our vision for office parks, now lifestyle campuses, is living wage jobs and to grow our local economy."
