HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The College Settlement camp continues to thrive in Horsham.
Township officials this weekend attended the 92nd annual June Supper for the College Settlement Summer Camp and Outdoor School.
Horsham Township Councilman John McCarty and Township Manager Bill Walker showed the township’s support of the "amazing work done by the Camp, their Board, their staff and their volunteers."
College Settlement is a day camp, overnight camp and outdoor school operating on over 235 acres of open space along Witmer, Mann, and Welsh roads in Horsham.
"Their programs foster personal growth and provide a safe, affordable, and nurturing place for young people to enjoy the outdoors while learning about themselves, others and the environment," officials said.
The camp also held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their solar energy project to make the entire camp free of electric.
