1,000 Residents Without Power After Hatboro Fire

HATBORO, PA — About 1,000 borough residents are without power Monday after authorities said wires caught fire on South York Road.

Borough officials said the Hatboro Borough Fire Department responded to a call on South York Road near Newington for wires on fire.

As a result, PECO has reported that about 1,000 residents are without power.

Officials said PECO is aware of the situation and at this time there is no information to share on restoring power.

Borough officials said they will provide options and urge residents to use caution while driving on York Road as some traffic lights maybe out due to power outage.
