HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Horsham Township Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of a house fire on Tuesday.
Horsham Community Police Services said fire crews responded at 10:10 a.m. on Tuesday to a working building fire call on the 10 block of Maple Avenue.
Firefighters found a small fire was located in the kitchen area.
The fire was extinguished and contained to a section of the kitchen. There were no injuries.
The family was assisted on scene by members of the township's Department of Emergency Management.
Horsham ChATs said the family was alerted to the fire due to having functioning smoke detectors in their home. This allowed them to have both the time to exit safely and contact 911 when the fire was in a very early stage.
