Wildfire Smoke Cancels Horsham Concerts in the Park

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — With a Code Red alert over bad air quality, township officials have canceled its Concerts in the Park show for Thursday night.

"After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s Concert in the Park at Lukens Park due to poor air quality caused by wildfire smoke," officials said.

Officials said the health and well-being of our Horsham community, staff, performers, and vendors was its top priority in making the decision about the air quality from the Canada wildfires.

"While we were truly looking forward to spending the evening together, the current conditions present health risks that make gathering outdoors unsafe," officials said.

Township officials said residents should look for updates regarding the August Concert in the Park at Lukens Park.
