• Hatboro Downtown On The Rebound (patch.com) — Downtown Hatboro is seeing a resurgence as consultant Stephen Barth returns to help the borough council support York Road businesses and capitalize on new luxury apartments. Over eight months, his efforts have aided about half the downtown merchants, generated significant social media reach, and helped attract or expand numerous shops and eateries, bringing more than 200 new jobs to the borough.
   

• Hatboro Borough Council Blasted Over Fiscal Transparency (patch.com) — Hatboro residents are pressing Borough Council for clearer, more frequent updates on borough finances as work continues on the 2027 budget after recent double‑digit tax hikes. One resident criticized the lack of quarterly reports and transparency on capital spending, while officials say staff are still finalizing numbers and may present details at the September council meeting.
