HATBORO, PA — The St. John Bosco Catholic Church will be holding a ceremony on Thursday night to mark the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on America.
The church's parish will hold a special prayer service at 630 p.m. on Thursday — the eve of the anniversary of the attacks — at its location at 215 East County Line Road.
Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives in the terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington, D.C., and in a field in Shanksville.
The church will be remembering those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, praying for families, and honoring local First Responders, and active-duty military members.
The church said it is hoping that police, fire, EMT and military will attend in uniform, if possible, the non-denominational ceremony. Also invited are military veterans, First Responders, and their families.
