Knife Assault Suspect Arrested After Foot Chase, Police Say (mychesco.com) — A 20-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly attacking someone with a knife at the McDonald's on North York Road in Hatboro and then trying to flee officers on foot. Hatboro police say surveillance video and interviews led to charges including simple assault and possession of an instrument of crime, with the suspect now held in Montgomery County pending a hearing.
2. Hatboro Introduces 2026 Dining Guide (patch.com) — Hatboro officials have rolled out a new 2026 Dining Guide to help you quickly find local restaurants while you're out and about in the borough. Created with downtown businesses and borough staff, the guide includes a QR code for easy access to food options and is available online at myhatboro.org, with printed cards heading to shops around town.
3. Hatboro Woman Passed $850K In Bad Checks: PD (patch.com) — Hatboro police have charged a 34-year-old borough woman with allegedly passing four bad checks totaling more than $850,000, and they're asking any possible victims in Hatboro to contact detectives. The investigation began in July, and the suspect turned herself in, was released on unsecured bail, and now faces a pending preliminary hearing.
4. These 46 Montco Businesses Targeted In Countywide THC Crackdown: DA (dailyvoice.com) — A Hatboro smoke shop at 11 S. York Road is among 46 Montgomery County businesses charged after detectives allegedly bought illegal high-THC products during an undercover investigation. County prosecutors say they'll seek to force shops to remove unlawful items, keep intoxicating products away from minors, and face felony possession-with-intent-to-deliver charges, with preliminary hearings set for November 9.
